Soprano Marjorie Wharton, soprano best known for her performances in various productions of "Porgy and Bess", will be giving a recital that will include J.K.Sims's setting of the "Lord's Prayer." Russell Wilson will be playing piano. The melody from this vocal work is used in a flute and piano featured in the film "Marii Hasegawa: Gentle Woman of a Dangerous Kind."
